Talon Grips
Pre-cut adhesive grip overlay for the Ruger MAX-9 in granulate texture. Adds aggressive purchase to the factory frame without changing dimensions.
Talon Grips is the standard texture upgrade for the Ruger MAX-9. The factory grip panels are functional but slick under sweat, and on an 18.4-ounce micro-compact pistol the recoil snaps hard enough that grip slip costs trigger control. Talon's pre-cut adhesive overlay wraps the MAX-9 grip panels in either granulate, rubber, or PRO granulate texture without permanent stippling, frame modification, or holster fit changes.
Install takes about ten minutes. Clean the frame with isopropyl alcohol, peel the backing, align the pre-cut panels to the molded frame contours, press and hold for thirty seconds. Full adhesive cure takes 24 hours. The overlay holds up to heat, sweat, and holster wear for years and removes clean with Goof Off when it is time to swap or sell the gun.
Texture choice depends on carry style. Granulate is the most aggressive and the right answer for range and OWB carry. Rubber is the best choice for AIWB carriers who run the gun against bare skin under a t-shirt, the granulate variant can chew through cover garments and skin over months of carry. PRO Granulate is a middle ground with peel-and-stick aluminum-feel grit. All three textures are $24.99 from Talon, with multi-pack discounts available direct.
