TANDEMKROSS
Ambidextrous aerospace-aluminum charging handle knob for the Ruger PC Carbine, wrapped in rubber O-rings for grip.

The factory Ruger PC Carbine charging handle is a small knob that becomes hard to work once an optic sits over the receiver or the shooter is wearing gloves. The Challenger is TANDEMKROSS's compact answer: an aerospace-grade aluminum body ringed with rubber O-rings that give the fingers something to bite into without adding much bulk.
The O-ring approach is the interesting part of the design. Instead of aggressive machined serrations that chew skin on a fast charge, the rubber bands grip under light pressure and stay grippy when wet. The handle is ambidextrous, which matters on the PC Carbine because the factory bolt handle is reversible; the Challenger works on either side without a second part number.
The low profile also helps when shooting prone or off a bag, since a smaller handle sits closer to the receiver and does not pry the rifle off its rest. Installation is a single screw, included in the box. TANDEMKROSS also sells the larger Spartan Charging Handle for the same rifle at $34.99, and its own product page recommends the two together rather than as either-or.
