Magpul MOE RVG Rail Vertical Grip (MAG412)

The Magpul MOE RVG (Rail Vertical Grip) is the Picatinny-clamp counterpart to the M-LOK MVG, and it remains the default budget vertical foregrip for any host that presents a bottom 1913 rail instead of M-LOK slots. Where the MVG bolts directly into M-LOK, the RVG clamps onto a continuous Picatinny rail, which makes it the natural choice for platforms whose forends are railed rather than slotted. Bullpup shotguns such as the Kel-Tec KSG, older quad-rail handguards, and shotgun forend rails all fall into this category. The grip places the support hand high on the bore centerline and works equally well wrapped fully as a traditional vertical grip or run thumb-forward for the modern thumb-break technique.

Construction is reinforced polymer with aggressive texturing for positive purchase under wet, sweaty, or gloved conditions. The RVG includes a polymer universal mounting rail and hardware so it can also attach to Magpul MOE and ACR handguards that lack a continuous Picatinny section. Weight is 2.6 ounces complete and the grip body is hollow, giving a small internal storage cavity for a spare battery or two. Available in Black, Flat Dark Earth, OD Green, and Grey to match standard furniture palettes.

On the KSG specifically, the RVG mounts to the bottom Picatinny rail and gives the support hand a positive anchor that keeps fingers behind the muzzle on a short bullpup where the hand can otherwise drift forward. For builders who want a true 90-degree vertical grip on a railed forend at the lowest price point, the RVG is the benchmark. Shooters who run M-LOK forends should choose the MVG instead; the RVG's Picatinny clamp is the only meaningful difference between the two.
