Overview
The factory X95 charging handle is a small fixed paddle that is hard to grip under stress, with gloves, or with a support hand coming off the forend. The Manticore Arms X95 Switchback is a folding handle that more than doubles the usable length, giving a solid two-finger grip when deployed, then folds flat against the receiver so it does not catch on slings, gear, or the support hand.
Operation is the clever part. You deploy the handle by hand, pull it back to charge the rifle, and release. The force of the handle returning forward flips it back to the stowed position, where a spring-loaded detent and a small tab lock it in place. Construction is a 6061 aluminum folding handle anodized black, paired with an overmolded steel rod and a polymer lug, and it ships preassembled and made in the USA.
The Switchback works on either side of the X95 and is compatible with the OEM 16 inch and 13 inch SBR forends as well as the Manticore Cantilever and Optimus forends. It is X95-specific and does not fit the Tavor SAR or Tavor 7. Part number MA-21950.
