Goggles N3

The Goggles N3 is the cheap seat in DJI's digital FPV ecosystem, and the compromise is honest: one 1080p LCD panel spread across a 54-degree field of view instead of the two micro-OLED screens in the Goggles 3. Contrast and sharpness step down, and the 60 Hz refresh is half the Goggles 3's 100 Hz, which racers will feel. Nothing else about the link is downgraded. It runs the same O4 transmission with up to 13 km of range on an Avata 2, where the feed runs 1080p/100fps at a 31 ms minimum latency; paired with a Neo, the feed is 1080p/60fps at a 58 ms minimum.

The single-screen design buys one thing back that no premium goggle offers: interior volume. There is no interpupillary adjustment and no diopter dial because you wear your own eyeglasses inside the shell. For anyone who has fought with lens inserts, that alone is worth the switch. The battery is built into the headband at 2,450 mAh and runs 2.7 hours per charge over USB-C, and the whole assembly weighs 536 g.

Compatibility is the constraint to check before buying. The N3 binds to DJI Neo and DJI Avata 2 and to DJI's O4 air units, not to the analog 5.8 GHz VTX in a self-built quad. If your flying is a shelf full of Betaflight builds running analog video, this goggle sees nothing. If you are flying DJI aircraft or building around an O4 air unit, it is the lowest-cost way into a 1080p feed.
