Dual-channel 1-6S charger with an AC supply built in, so a first build needs no separate power brick.
Most FPV chargers people buy first are DC-only, which means they arrive and do nothing until a separate power supply shows up. The D6 Pro has AC built in. Plug it into the wall and it charges at up to 200 W; feed it 6.5 to 30 V of DC from a server supply or a car battery later and each of its two channels will pull 325 W, 650 W across the pair. That single design choice is why it belongs in a first build's parts list rather than the cheaper DC-only unit next to it.
Two independent channels is the second reason. FPV batteries come in pairs and get consumed in pairs, and charging two 6S 1300 packs simultaneously at up to 15 A each turns a session turnaround from twenty minutes into ten. Balance current is 1600 mA per channel, which is high enough to actually finish balancing rather than sitting at 99 percent while one cell catches up. Chemistry support runs LiPo, LiHV, LiFe, and Li-ion from 1S to 6S, NiMH, NiCd, and NiZn to 16S, and lead acid from 2 V to 24 V, which covers the goggle batteries, transmitter cells, and 18650s that accumulate around this hobby.
Storage mode is the function to learn on day one. LiPo packs degrade fast when left at full charge, and the D6 Pro's storage program takes a pack to roughly 3.8 V per cell in either direction, charging a depleted pack up or discharging a full one down through 15 W of internal load per channel. Get into the habit of hitting storage on anything that will not fly within a day or two.
Physically it is 108 x 105 x 76 mm and 555 g, with a color screen, a USB port at 5 V and 2.1 A, and a wireless charging pad on top that will hold a phone while it works.
