Angstadt Arms
1.7-inch bore rail that fits both AR-15 and AR9 builds, with a short 9.3-inch length ideal for tucked-can PDWs.
The Angstadt Arms Suppressor Series stands out for two reasons: a 1.7-inch inside diameter that clears most rifle cans, and dual-platform fitment across both AR-15 and AR9 (9mm) builds. Angstadt built its name on 9mm AR pistols and SBRs, so this rail is engineered for the short, suppressed, pistol-caliber and 300 Blackout PDW builds where tucking the can matters most. The 9.3-inch length, at a precise 9.238 inches, suits sub-10-inch barrels running a suppressor underneath, keeping a stamped SBR or braced pistol compact.
Construction is aluminum with mil-spec hard-coat black anodizing, a continuous mil-spec 1913 top rail for bridging optics across the receiver gap, and M-LOK around the tube. Installation needs no timing or shims, and two QD swivel points are machined in. The 9.3-inch model weighs 11 ounces with hardware, reasonable given the wide bore. Forged and billet uppers are both supported.
At $161 for the 9.3-inch and $179 for the 14.8-inch, the Suppressor Series is priced in line with the Midwest SP and well under the SLR SD. The 1.7-inch bore sits between the Midwest SP's 1.67 inches and the 1.75-inch STNGR and AT3 rails, clearing the great majority of 5.56 and 300 BLK cans. For builders running a 9mm suppressed PCC and a 300 BLK SBR off the same parts philosophy, the AR-15/AR9 compatibility is the differentiator.
