The 11-inch anodized aluminum body has Picatinny rails and a top indexing tab that locks into the BRN-4 upper to resist rotation. Brownells lists BRN-4, HK416, MR556, and MR556A1 fitment. The current MR556 A4 is not named, and the page says the barrel nut is separate. This part gives a period-style quad-rail profile; it is not an issued HK M27 handguard.
