Battle Arms Development
Two-part true-ambi AR-15 kit pairing an enhanced bolt catch with a right-side battery-assist lever for the most aggressive reach on the list.
The Battle Arms Development BAD-EBC Ambidextrous Bolt Catch Kit is the full-commitment ambi solution. Rather than a one-piece release like the Phase 5, it pairs Battle Arms' Enhanced Bolt Catch with a dedicated ambidextrous lever that extends to the right side of the receiver, giving the firing hand a long, positive paddle for both lock-back and release. The two parts are designed to work together: the ambi lever indexes specifically on the BAD Enhanced Bolt Catch and will not function on a standard mil-spec or other aftermarket catch.
Both pieces are 8620 steel with a black phosphate finish, and the kit ships complete with a T10 Torx screw and an L-wrench. The enhanced catch on its own improves left-side operation; adding the lever turns the rifle into a true ambidextrous bolt-control system without swapping the lower receiver. It is the most hardware on the list, which is the point: it delivers the most reach and the most positive right-side engagement.
Choose this kit when you want maximum ambidextrous bolt control and are willing to run a matched two-piece system. If you would rather have the right-side function integrated into a single part, the Phase 5 EBRv3 is simpler; if you only want the lever on a budget, the Magpul B.A.D. Lever is cheaper. The BAD-EBC kit sits at the top for shooters who want the catch and the lever engineered as a set.
