Overview

This is CMC's 81500 small-parts kit with a CMC 3.5 lb single-stage curved drop-in trigger added to the box. Everything else is the same: bolt catch assembly, magazine release, safety selector with detent and spring, buffer retainer, trigger guard, and both takedown pins with detents and springs. The grip is still not included.

The reason to buy this over the bare kit plus a separate trigger is the bundle price. CMC's curved single-stage sells on its own at the same price as the whole kit, so the small parts effectively come free. The 3.5 lb break is on the light side for a duty rifle and right at home on a range or precision build, and unlike every mil-spec kit in this class there is nothing here a builder will immediately replace.
