Overview
The Macon Armory 9mm Colt Pattern Magazine Well Adapter converts the mil-spec magazine well in a standard AR-15 lower to accept Colt-pattern 9mm magazines. It loads from the bottom and takes the conversion path instead of requiring a dedicated 9mm lower receiver.
The adapter body is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized. Macon Armory uses hardened steel for both the feed ramp and the bolt-catch actuator, putting steel at the two working surfaces that guide cartridges and contact the lower's bolt-catch system.
This is a Colt-pattern, simple-blowback part. It is not a Glock-magazine adapter, and Macon Armory specifies it for use with blowback uppers. Choose it when retaining a standard AR-15 lower matters more than using a dedicated PCC lower.
