TANDEMKROSS Eagle's Talon Extractor (Ruger 10/22)

The factory 10/22 extractor is a stamped part, and it is the single most common source of stovepipes and failures to eject on a rifle that has seen real round counts. The stamping loses its bite on the case rim, the spent case does not get pulled clear, and the next round drives it into the ejection port.

The Eagle's Talon is machined rather than stamped, cut from hardened tool steel, and shaped with a more aggressive positive hook that holds the rim through the full rearward stroke and throws the case well clear. It is the same fix a gunsmith would apply, sold as a drop-in part for the price of two boxes of bulk ammo.

Installation happens during a normal bolt disassembly and requires no fitting. TANDEMKROSS warranties firing pins, extractors, and springs for two years rather than the lifetime coverage it puts on non-wear parts, which is the honest position for a part that is expected to wear. If the bolt is already coming apart for a firing pin or a headspace job, this is the part to change at the same time.
