Eagle's Talon Extractor (S&W SW22 Victory)

Most SW22 Victory ejection failures trace to the extractor. The factory part does not hold the case rim firmly enough through the rearward stroke, so the case releases early and lands sideways in the ejection port. The result is the stovepipe that shows up in the middle of a string.

The hook geometry is what does the work: more positive engagement on the rim means the case stays under control until the ejector hits it.
