TANDEMKROSS
Enlarged bi-directional magazine release for the Ruger 10/22 that drops a magazine on either a push or a pull.
+12 more
The factory 10/22 magazine release is a small flat lever tucked under the receiver that most shooters end up hunting for with a fingernail. On a rimfire steel or Rimfire Challenge stage that fumble is the whole reload. The Fireswitch replaces it with an enlarged, textured paddle that a gloved hand finds without looking.
The part that separates it from a plain extended release is the dual action. Push it forward or pull it back and the magazine drops either way, which means the shooter can use whichever motion their grip and hand size actually allow instead of adapting to the part. On a 22 Charger, where the support hand is often wrapped around a bipod or a bag, that flexibility matters more than the extra surface area does.
Installation requires no permanent modification to the rifle and reverses cleanly. TANDEMKROSS offers it in black or red, and it is the same magazine release that ships pre-installed in the Manticore and Manticore X trigger housings, so buying the Fireswitch on its own is the right move only if you are keeping the factory or another aftermarket housing.
