Taran Tactical Innovations Base Pad for Glock 43 Magazine, Black, 8, GBP9-01
The Taran Tactical +2 base pad is the range and competition answer to the Pearce +1. It replaces the factory Glock 43 floorplate with a machined aluminum body wrapped in a rubberized bumper, extending magazine capacity from 6 rounds to 8 rounds. The aggressive bumper profile provides a positive impact surface for speed reloads and prevents the magazine from bouncing out of tight competition belts.
Taran Tactical pioneered the extended base pad concept in USPSA and 3-Gun competition, and their Glock 43 variant carries the same quality: precision CNC machining, high-durometer rubber that resists tearing, and a replaceable spring and follower designed to handle the longer stroke. Colors are available in black, red, and aluminum natural finish.
The tradeoff is length. At 8+1 capacity, the TTI +2 adds noticeably more grip than the Pearce +1 and is harder to conceal in deep IWB, pocket, or ankle carry. Most G43 shooters who care about capacity run a Pearce +1 on the carry mag and TTI +2 on spare mags carried in a belt pouch. For range use, the Taran is the clear pick.
Add the Taran Tactical +2 Base Pad (Glock 43) to your build and see how it enhances your platform.
