American Defense AD-RECON Scope Mount

The American Defense AD-RECON is the quick-detach mount most LPVO shooters benchmark against. Its patented QD Auto Lock lever throws onto a Picatinny rail without proprietary tools and self-adjusts to clamp in-spec or slightly out-of-spec rails, returning to zero reliably across removal cycles. The lever can be configured to lock to the front or the rear depending on how the shooter indexes the rifle.

The mount uses a 2 inch forward offset cantilever to position the scope correctly for AR-15 eye relief, pushing the optic far enough forward that short-eye-relief LPVOs sit where they should. It is precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a hard coat anodized finish and weighs roughly 8.4 ounces.

ADM offers the RECON in standard, mid (AD-RECON-M), and tall (AD-RECON-H) heights, plus tube diameters from 1 inch up through 34mm and 35mm, so the mount fits everything from a budget 1-6x to a large 34mm 1-10x.
