The full-length AK Master Mount uses the same recessed QD lever and Dual Axis Locking clamp as the rear-bias version, but carries a 7.25-inch combined Picatinny and ACOG-base rail supported by four struts. The maker says the rail runs nearly the entire length of the dust cover, which leaves room to place a magnified optic for eye relief or to stack a red dot and magnifier.
At 6.6 ounces it weighs 2 ounces more than the short rear-bias mount. Like every AKM version, it is built for standard AK side rails; Yugo/Zastava rails and Century's proprietary rail take different parts.
