Overview

The M2-B is the vented-gas-tube version of UltiMAK's forward mount. It replaces the gas tube and upper handguard on standard-length, standard-weight AKs and AKMs whose original tube has side vent holes, and UltiMAK names it the correct mount for Century C39, C39V2, RAS-47, and VSKA rifles. It can replace an M1-B on any AK that would fit either.

The one-piece 6061-T6 rail has 16 Picatinny slots over 6.875 inches and clamps to the barrel with steel hardware. UltiMAK keeps it slightly shorter than the factory tube so it touches neither the rear sight block nor the gas block, and says it warms with repeated fire but not enough to affect an optic.
