XS Sights Marlin Lever Rail Ghost Ring Sight Set

XS Sights builds the lever rail most Ruger-Marlin owners reach for first. It is a one-piece aluminum Picatinny rail that replaces the factory rear sight dovetail and runs forward over the receiver, giving you the choice of a scout scope mounted forward, a red dot over the receiver, or a low-power variable, all without drilling or tapping. The rail is hard anodized to shrug off weather the way the SBL's stainless action does.

The set pairs the rail with XS's ghost-ring iron sights: an adjustable aperture rear with two interchangeable inserts (a fast .230 inch ring for close work and a tighter .191 inch ring for precision) and a high-visibility white-stripe front post. That keeps the rifle fully usable with irons if the optic goes down or comes off, which is the entire point of a fighting lever gun.

Installation is genuinely DIY. The set ships with a screw kit, pillar assembly, threadlocker, and instructions, and it drops onto the new-production Marlin 336/1894/1895 receivers without a gunsmith. Note that XS's integral front-sight kits do not fit the SBL/Dark/Trapper's 1.00 inch front-sight screw spacing, so the rail-plus-ghost-ring set is the correct pick for those rifles.
