Overview
White Label Armory's A2 is the standard birdcage flash hider threaded 1/2x28 for 5.56 and .223 AR-15 barrels. The closed-bottom A2 pattern cuts visible flash in low light and keeps the muzzle from kicking up dust when you fire prone.
It is a direct-thread device with no suppressor mount, so pair it with a crush washer or peel washer to time it. A standard A2 adds only about 1.1 to 1.25 inches past the muzzle, so a 14.5" barrel needs an extended device, not this one, to reach 16" as a pinned and welded rifle.
