Overview
The Trigger Supply M&P 2.0 Forced Reset Trigger is a 4140 steel backplate device with maker-stated three-mode operation. Single-Shot provides a standard semi-auto feel with a deliberate press and manual reset. Forced Reset uses the slide cycle to mechanically reset the trigger after each round. Semi-Auto Fallback returns the pistol to standard semi-auto operation if the forced reset fails. Every shot requires a separate trigger function.
Installation replaces the factory backplate without gunsmithing or permanent frame modification, and the factory backplate can be reinstalled. Fitment covers listed 9mm Full Size, Compact, Subcompact, Metal, Performance Center, and Thumb Safety models; 10mm Full Size and Performance Center models; and .40 S&W and .45 ACP Full Size, Compact, Performance Center, and Thumb Safety models. It does not fit the original M&P non-2.0 or the M&P Shield series. Trigger Supply recommends a 4 lb striker spring and a heavier recoil spring.
