Agilite
Agilite's slick-tier sibling to the K19. 1.74 lb chassis with 8-suspension-point V-design for weight spread, bundled cable-management kit, and the same $289 price as the full-feature K19.
The Agilite K-Zero is Agilite's answer to the Ferro Slickster category. Same $289 as the K19 (a deliberate Agilite pricing move — they want you to choose by use case, not budget) but stripped down to 1.74 lb empty with a one-size low-profile cummerbund and an 8-suspension-point V-strap shoulder system. The V-strap geometry is what makes the K-Zero feel lighter than its weight suggests: the load spreads across more of the trapezius rather than concentrating on two narrow strap paths.
Plate compatibility is broader than most slick carriers. The K-Zero accepts SAPI, ESAPI, Shooter's Cut, and Swimmer Cut plates in M and L sizes, up to 1.25 inches thick. That covers the full mainstream plate market without forcing a separate carrier purchase for Swimmer Cut buyers.
The cable-management kit is the K-Zero's quiet differentiator. Comms run, antenna run, hydration line — they all clip into integrated channels rather than zip-tying to the cummerbund. For users running radios and headset wires under their kit, this matters more than the spec sheet suggests.
K-Zero, K-Zero SF (special forces — adds releasable construction), K-Zero Pro, and Sub-Zero Slick are all in Agilite's K-Zero family; the base K-Zero is the standard recommendation. M81 Woodland is available alongside the standard cams. Stocked through OpticsPlanet, Agilite Amazon, and Agilite direct.
