Glock
Optic-ready Baby Glock with full MOS plate system for RMR, DPP, K-footprint dots
0-10 Scale Across 8 Axes
The Glock 26 Gen5 MOS is the first factory optic-ready Baby Glock and the single biggest platform upgrade the G26 has received in its 30-year run. The MOS slide uses the same full-size Modular Optic System plate set as the G17 and G19 MOS, which means the slide accepts RMR, DPP, Holosun 507 K-footprint, and Shield RMSc optics through swappable plates rather than the direct-cut RMSc mill used on the G43X MOS. That keeps the optic catalog wide open, Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507C (with standard RMR plate), Holosun 507K/EPS Carry (with K plate), Leupold DPP, and most common small footprints all mount cleanly.
The gun otherwise carries every Gen5 feature, ambidextrous slide stop, nDLC finish, Marksman Barrel, no finger grooves, and the still-rail-less subcompact frame. There is no accessory rail, so weapon lights remain a non-option, and the optic sits slightly higher than it would on a direct-milled slide because of the MOS plate stack-up. Taller suppressor-height iron sights like the Night Fision Optics Ready are required to co-witness through most dots.
For shooters who already own or want to buy a G26 and plan to run a red dot, the MOS variant is the correct buy, the ~$130 MSRP premium over the standard G26 beats the $250 to $500 cost of third-party slide milling, and it preserves the ability to swap optic footprints without re-cutting the slide.
Add optics, lights, and accessories to build your perfect Glock 26 Gen5 MOS.
