Overview

The Henry H010X brings the X Model furniture package to the large-frame .45-70 rifle. It keeps Henry's side-gate and removable-tube loading system, then adds black synthetic furniture, a pistol-grip stock, M-LOK and Picatinny accessory slots on the fore-end, fiber-optic sights, and a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle.

Compared with the Marlin Dark, the Henry is less compact but easier to suppress because it uses the more common 5/8x24 thread pitch. The 19.8-inch barrel and 7.4-pound weight make it a better field rifle than a pure short carbine, while the accessory-ready furniture still supports a light, optic, sling, and muzzle device.
