Overview

The Meta Tactical Apex is the only true bullpup in the Glock chassis category. Instead of clamping a stabilizer brace onto an unmodified pistol, the Apex drops the complete Glock into a bullpup shell and adds a dedicated 16-inch barrel that mates to the slide, moving the action behind the trigger for a compact overall length. The result handles like a purpose-built carbine while still running the host Glock's fire-control parts.

Because the Apex pairs a 16-inch barrel with a 26-inch overall length measured with the stock extended (23.375 inches collapsed) and ships with a 6-position stock rather than a brace, it is a Title I long gun, not a short-barreled rifle. Meta Tactical engineers each kit to be model-specific, with versions spanning Glock 17, 19, 19X, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 34, 35, and 45 across Gen 3 through Gen 5. The integrated handguard carries M-LOK slots and a full-length top rail for optics.

For a Glock owner who wants genuine carbine ballistics and ergonomics without navigating NFA paperwork, the Apex delivers more than the brace-based clamshell kits. The trade is bulk and weight: at roughly 3.25 pounds for the chassis the Apex is the heaviest option here, and the bullpup layout puts the magazine release and charging handle in non-standard positions that take range time to master.
