Overview
The PSA Sabre AK-47 GF4 is Palmetto State Armory's premium modernized PSAK-47 package, built from a Romanian parts kit around a forged front trunnion and a hammer-forged bolt and carrier finished in DLC coating rather than the phosphate finish common on entry AKs. The GF4 tier uses PSA's cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel.
Sabre-specific upgrades stack on top of that GF4 base: an ALG AKT Enhanced trigger with a DLC-coated lightning bow, an extended enhanced safety lever, B5 Systems furniture, a Soviet Arms rail with a railed gas tube, a Sabre Plan B muzzle device, and a side scope mount. The routed rifle is the Moss Green/Burnt Bronze configuration sold as SKU 51655225926.
This is a new product line, launched September 2025, so independent long-count reliability testing is still thin compared to PSA's longer-running GF3/GF4/GF5 base rifles. As of this writing it was listed only on PSA's own site, so verify current retailer availability before buying.
