Overview

The PSA Sabre WBP 5.56 AK is Palmetto State Armory's 5.56x45mm Sabre AK, built around parts from a new-production imported Polish WBP kit: the bolt, carrier, front trunnion, rear sight assembly, lower handguard retainer, dust cover, recoil spring assembly, and safety. The hammer-forged WBP bolt and carrier and forged WBP front trunnion sit in a stamped steel dimpled receiver with swell-neck rivets and a side scope mount.

PSA supplies the in-house 16-inch cold hammer-forged barrel, which is phosphate coated and chrome lined, with a 1:7 twist and 1/2x28 threads carrying a Sabre Plan B flash hider. The Sabre package adds an ALG AKT Enhanced trigger with a DLC-coated lightning bow, a Soviet Arms 11.5-inch rail and railed gas tube in Burnt Bronze, and a B5 Systems P-Grip and 4.5mm folding AK stock in RAL 8000. The receiver and barrel are Moss Green. One 30-round magazine ships where allowed by law; a cleaning rod is not included.

The rifle went on sale September 25, 2026, so independent long-count reliability testing does not exist yet.
