Shadow Systems MR920P Elite

The MR920P Elite is Shadow Systems' compensated Glock 19-class pistol, built around the Glock 19 magazine footprint with a 4.2-inch compensated barrel and a patent-pending multi-footprint optic cut. The comp adds only half an inch to the slide envelope, which means the pistol fits in Glock 17-length holsters without comp-specific molds. That solves the biggest problem with most carry comps.

Shadow Systems' multi-footprint optic cut is the other headline feature. RMR, Holosun 407C/507C/508T, and Shield RMSc footprints all mount directly to the slide without adapter plates. The larger Holosun 509T and Aimpoint ACRO footprints are the exception and require a Shadow Systems adapter plate. The Elite trim adds a flat-face trigger with a 4-4.5 lb pull, titanium carbonitride bronze barrel finish, tritium front night sight with serrated rear, and aggressive slide serrations. Frame texture is configurable for shooters who want different grip stippling.

At $1,169 street ($1,269 MSRP), the MR920P Elite sits in the same price band as a Wilson Combat WCP320 or Salient Glock build but ships from the factory with everything those would require an aftermarket assembly to achieve. For shooters who want a duty-class compact comp that runs Glock mags and Glock holsters, the MR920P Elite is the cleanest aftermarket-flavor option in the production pistol market.
