Overview
The U526 is Shadow Systems' full-length AR-15, built around a 16-inch chrome-lined barrel with an intermediate-length gas system. At 6.2 pounds, it is unusually light for a complete premium rifle while keeping a full-length M-LOK handguard, ambidextrous controls, and a two-stage trigger.
The hybrid-profile barrel uses spiral fluting to remove weight, and the pinned 17-4 stainless gas block is sized for duty use. The Maelstrom flash hider accepts Plan B-compatible suppressors without replacing the factory muzzle device.
The tradeoff is a premium price and proprietary furniture that may not suit every shooter. Choose the U526 when low weight and a complete factory setup matter more than assembling an AR one part at a time.
