Trijicon RMR Type 2

The Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) literally created the pistol red dot category. Introduced in 2009, the RMR's patented housing design with its distinctive shape proved that a miniature red dot could survive the violent slide cycling of a semi-automatic pistol. The Type 2, released in 2016, improved the electronics and button system while maintaining the legendary durability.

The RMR's footprint became the industry standard - nearly every aftermarket slide and factory optic-ready pistol is cut for the RMR. This universal compatibility ensures the RMR will mount to virtually any platform. The 7075-T6 aluminum housing is forged and machined to aerospace standards, providing a strength-to-weight ratio unmatched by competitors.

Choose between adjustable LED models (user-controlled brightness) or dual-illuminated models (fiber optic + tritium with no battery). The 3.25 MOA dot is preferred for duty use, while the 6.5 MOA dot offers faster acquisition for competition. The top-loading battery requires removing the optic for changes, but proper torque eliminates zero shift.
