SIG ROMEO-X Compact Enclosed

The SIG ROMEO-X Compact Enclosed is SIG's factory-grade enclosed-emitter red dot built on the Shield RMSc footprint. It ships in three reticle variants: SORX1400 (2 MOA dot + 32 MOA circle), SORX1430 (3 MOA dot), and SORX1460 (6 MOA dot). All three share the same 7075 aluminum housing, side-loading CR1632 battery, and MOTAC motion-activation system.

The housing is fully sealed against debris, lint, and slide blowback, eliminating the primary durability concern with open-emitter micro red dots on carry guns. Side-loading the CR1632 means you swap the battery without pulling the optic off the slide, so zero is preserved through every change. MOTAC motion activation puts the dot on instantly when the pistol moves and returns it to sleep after a dwell, extending rated runtime to 20,000 hours.

For SIG P365 shooters, the ROMEO-X Compact is the factory-matched answer. SIG also bundles it on some optic-ready P365 models. The Shield RMSc footprint fits the P365 XL, P365 X-Macro, G43X/48 MOS, and other slim slides without an adapter plate. Twelve daylight and three night-vision brightness settings cover defensive carry and suppressed-NV use. Adjustments are 1.5 MOA per click, with 80 MOA of total windage and elevation.

Positioning: it sits directly against the Holosun EPS Carry ($389) on feature set. The ROMEO-X trades Holosun's solar failsafe and multi-reticle options for SIG's Infinite Guarantee warranty and factory parts-integration with the P365 ecosystem. For SIG loyalists, the factory warranty coverage is the differentiator; for everyone else, the EPS Carry delivers most of the same capability for less money.
