SIG P211-GT4

The P211-GT4 is the carry-spec sibling to the full-size GT5. SIG cut the bull barrel from 5 inches to 4.2, shortened the dust cover to a carry profile, and added a low-profile magwell. The result is a P211 that carries in a G19-class size envelope with the same P320 magazine ecosystem, SIG-LOC PRO optic cut, and single-action trigger geometry that defines the rest of the line. At $2,099 MSRP it sits below every Staccato HD: the HD C3.6 starts at $2,299, the HD P4 at $2,499, and the comp-equipped HD C4X at $3,499.

The trade-off versus a Staccato HD C3.6 or HD C4X is weight. The GT4 ships with a stainless steel mainframe and an aluminum alloy grip module, putting it at roughly 37 ounces unloaded against the HD C3.6's 24 ounces and the HD C4X's 24.5. That extra 12-13 ounces hangs on the carry belt all day, and for many shooters it pushes the GT4 out of the conventional-carry envelope and into a duty or off-body role. Buyers comparing 4 inch comped carry 2011s should consider whether they want the lighter aluminum-framed Staccato or the heavier steel-framed SIG; the recoil character is meaningfully different.

The headline value is the P320 magazine compatibility. The GT4 ships with one 17-round flush mag and two 21-round extended mags, all interchangeable with M17/M18 service magazines already in inventory at most American gun stores, police departments, and military units. Spare mags run $40-50 instead of the $90+ commanded by proprietary 2011 magazines, and the agency logistics chain already exists. The slide uses the SIG-LOC PRO direct-mount cut compatible with the Romeo-X footprint, with XRAY3 day/night iron sights standard. The carry-length dust cover keeps a 3-slot Picatinny rail for compact weapon lights, and Coyote Cerakote is offered alongside the black Nitron finish.
