SIG P220 Legion 10mm

SIG Sauer applied the Legion treatment to the P220 in 10mm, producing one of the most refined single-stack 10mm pistols available. The P220 platform has decades of proven service in .45 ACP, and the 10mm Legion variant adds a heavier stainless-steel frame, 5-inch barrel, X-RAY3 day/night sights, G10 grips, and an accessory rail.

The single-action-only control set is closer to a 1911 than a classic DA/SA P-series pistol: carry cocked and locked, sweep the safety off on presentation, and run the same trigger pull for every shot. For backcountry carry, that makes the pistol fast and accurate under stress, but it demands the same safety discipline as a 1911.

The P220 Legion 10mm is a single-stack 8+1 design, carrying the same capacity limitation as the 1911 options. At roughly $1,780 MSRP for the current optic-ready SKU, it commands one of the highest prices in the category. The value proposition is the trigger, all-steel weight, and SIG's classic P-series handling with enough mass to make full-power 10mm controllable.
