The Springfield Hellion 20-inch rifle is the long-barrel option in the Hellion family. It uses a 20-inch CMV Melonite barrel with a bayonet-lug profile while staying only 32.25 to 33.75 inches overall because the action sits behind the trigger group.
The 20-inch gun is the most natural Hellion for LPVO, magnified optic, and downrange 5.56 roles, but its accessory compatibility remains shared with the 16- and 18-inch variants. Hellion-specific trigger work, bolt releases, buttpads, handguards, stocks, magwell parts, STANAG magazines, lights, slings, and 1/2x28 muzzle devices all follow the same builder path.
