Magpul ACS-L Carbine Stock

The Magpul ACS-L (Adaptable Carbine/Storage-Light) represents a weight-optimized evolution of the popular ACS design. By removing the dual side battery tubes while retaining the center storage compartment, Magpul created a slimmer, lighter stock that still offers onboard storage. At 12.5 ounces (0.78 lb), the ACS-L is significantly lighter than the 14-ounce standard ACS while maintaining the excellent cheek weld and friction lock system.

The ACS-L utilizes the same supplemental friction lock that eliminates accuracy-robbing wobble on the receiver extension tube. The center storage compartment in the tail of the stock features a positive latching access door on the right-hand side, providing secure storage for cleaning supplies, spare parts, or small items. The replaceable 0.30 inch rubber buttpad offers an anti-slip surface and increases impact protection.

Users appreciate the ACS-L's balance of features and weight savings. The friction lock provides 100% tight lockup with zero rattle, and the cheek weld is instantly perfect for optic use. While heavier than minimalist stocks, the ACS-L delivers storage capability and premium feel at a reasonable 12.5 ounces.
