Overview

MDT's Folding Stock Adapter installs between a bolt-action chassis and an AR-style buttstock. The line includes fixed-to-fixed, fixed-to-carbine, carbine-to-carbine, and carbine-to-fixed interface combinations, with one-way or two-way locking options.

The hinge adds 1.75 inches to length of pull and uses a solid internal body, so a bolt cannot pass through it. MDT lists broad compatibility with bolt-action chassis that use AR-style interfaces but specifically excludes the TAC21 and chassis with built-in folding systems such as the ESS and ACC.
