Overview

The FireCat22 is Exigent Defense's rimfire suppressor, not a Polite Society can. It is printed in Inconel 718 by DMLS as one piece, finished in Cerakote C-102 Graphite Black, and measures 5.0 inches long, 1.125 inches in diameter, and 6.75 oz. The 1/2x28 thread is integral. Exigent rates it full-auto and lists .22 LR, .22 Mag, 17 HMR, and 5.7x28 with no barrel restriction on those cartridges.

The 5.56 line is narrower: single-shot on 10.3-inch and longer barrels. That is not a 5.56 carbine rating. Sound reduction is listed as TBA. The can is not user-serviceable. Inconel and a sealed print are the maintenance trade: it shrugs off rimfire fouling and aggressive cleaning, and you cannot pull a stack to brush it the way a Sparrow core comes out.

Warranty on the Capitol listing is lifetime. This remains an NFA suppressor. Hearing protection still applies.
