DNT Optics
Cheapest all-in-one that fuses a 256 thermal core with a Starvis2 day/night camera and a built-in rangefinder
The DNT Optics ThermNight TNC225R is the cheapest way to own thermal and night vision in a single riflescope. It runs two imaging channels side by side: a 256x192 12um thermal core for heat detection and a Sony Starvis2 1920x1080 CMOS camera for full-color daytime use and IR-assisted digital night vision. Both feed a 1024x768 Micro-OLED display, and the scope layers a real reticle over either channel so you aim the same way in daylight, darkness, or through brush.
At $1,199.99 the TNC225R undercuts most dedicated thermal scopes while adding a day and night camera those scopes lack. The built-in 1100-yard laser rangefinder and onboard ballistic calculator handle holdover math without a separate unit, thermal magnification runs 3-12x with night vision to 20x, and the housing carries a .50 BMG recoil rating with an IP67 seal. Runtime is the main tradeoff at roughly 5 hours on a removable 18650, so a spare cell is worth carrying for a full night.
