Laser Ammo AR Flash Bolt (Red Laser)

Laser dry fire on a pistol is solved: drop a cartridge in the chamber and you get a dot. On an AR it is harder, because a laser cartridge means working the charging handle after every shot, which destroys the cadence the reps are supposed to build. The Flash Bolt fixes that by replacing the bolt entirely. It brings its own trigger and laser assembly, so presses come back to back with no charging-handle work and no modification to the rifle.

The unit covers 9mm, .223/5.56, and 300 Blackout ARs out of the box, and ships with a conversion kit to move between 9mm and .223/5.56. A .308/7.62 adapter is sold separately for large-frame guns. Four modes cover different training setups: a short pulse for competition simulators such as the Smokeless Range, a long pulse for shot tracking so you can read point of impact on paper, and a constant-on bore-sight mode for sight alignment and movement tracking. The fourth is an invisible-laser mode that belongs to the infrared version of the bolt, not this one. Windage and elevation are adjustable so the laser can be aligned to your zero rather than pointing wherever it lands.

Trigger feel is tunable, which matters more than it sounds on a training device. The kit includes seven colored trigger spacers and five trigger weight springs, so you can set pull weight and reset sensitivity close to the trigger in your actual rifle instead of accepting whatever the device came with. One documented exclusion: it does not work in the Wilson Combat AR-9. Everything else in the standard AR pattern is fair game, and the laser is Class 1 eye safe.
