Maglula 10/22 Loader LU30B

Anyone who has tried to thumb-load a BX-25 already knows why this tool exists. The 10/22 box magazines use a stiff spring and a tight feed-lip geometry that makes the last five rounds genuinely difficult by hand. The LU30B sits over the top of the mag, guides each round in, and lets the loader push it past the lips with a thumb lever instead of fingertip pressure.

Loading a BX-25 with the LU30B takes about 30 seconds. By thumb, it takes two to three minutes and leaves your fingertips sore. On a bulk-pack range day (525-round Federal box, two BX-25s, recurring reload cycles), the LU30B turns the 10/22 from a fatigue limiter back into a fun gun. It also functions as an unloader for putting rounds back in the original box at the end of the session.

It covers the factory Ruger BX-1 10-round, BX-15 15-round, and BX-25 25-round magazines. Aftermarket mags from Promag, Butler Creek Steel Lips, and Tactical Innovations also generally work, though Hot Lips mags with non-standard feed-lip angles may not seat reliably.
