Overview
The Trinity Trigger AP5-P 3-Position FRT Trigger Housing is a complete replacement trigger housing for the MKE-built AP5-P and its K-length equivalents, the MAC5K, ZF5K, and POF5K. The selector runs Safety, Semi, and Forced Reset. In the forced reset position the bolt's rearward travel pushes the trigger forward into reset after each shot, so every round still takes its own trigger press. Trinity includes an MP5 trip, and the buyer chooses a curved or flat trigger and a black or gold cam.
The body is 3D-printed from carbon-fiber-reinforced ABS, with two metal plates set into the fire control group interface for rigidity and alignment. Trinity tunes it for the shorter bolt travel of K-length receivers, and this configuration runs without a buffer or buffer tube. It fits short (K) guns only; Trinity excludes the full-size AP5, the mid-length AP5-M, and SD variants, and sells a separate full-size AP5 housing.
It is the turnkey option for an AP5-P owner who does not want to source an AR-FCG lower, trip kit, and selector separately. It costs more than the Mars Trigger AP5-K/ZF5-K/MP5-K lower or a Rare Breed FRT-RD3 cassette. Trinity does not ship to 18 states or Washington D.C.
