Overview
The Trinity Trigger HK SP5 3-Position FRT Trigger Housing is a complete replacement trigger housing for the full-size HK SP5 that arrives with Trinity's forced reset system already installed. The selector runs Safety, Semi, and Forced Reset. In the forced reset position the bolt's rearward travel pushes the trigger forward into reset after each shot, so every round still takes its own trigger press. Trinity includes a TPU buffer for impact absorption and an MP5 trip, and the buyer chooses a curved or flat trigger and a black or gold cam.
The housing body is 3D-printed from carbon-fiber-reinforced ABS, which Trinity picked for strength, heat resistance, and dimensional stability over a standard polymer housing. Two metal plates are set into the fire control group interface to stiffen the area that takes the most load and keep the internals aligned. Fitment is narrow by design: this housing fits full-size SP5 pistols only and does not fit the SP5K, mid-length, or SD models. Trinity sells a separate SP5K housing.
The case for it is that nothing needs sourcing or timing: there is no separate AR-FCG lower, trip kit, or selector to match up. The case against it is cost, since it runs well above the Mars Trigger complete lower and the Rare Breed FRT-RD3 drop-in cassette. Trinity does not ship to 18 states or Washington D.C.
