Gideon Optics Pebble (S&W Bodyguard 2.0)
Open emitter 3 MOA dot with a direct dovetail mount for the Bodyguard 2.0, the lighter Pebble option.

The Bodyguard 2.0 ships with no milled optic cut, so a red dot mounts at the rear-sight dovetail rather than in a slide pocket. Two paths work. Optics built for this pistol, the Viridian RFX1 and the Gideon Optics Pebble and enclosed Pebble E, replace the factory rear sight and bolt to the slide with nothing in between. Everything else goes through the Galloway Precision optic mount plate, which taps out the factory sight and presents a Shield RMSc / Holosun K footprint for the Holosun 507K and 407K, the Shield RMSc, the SIG Romeo Zero Elite and the Vortex Defender-CCW.
Fitment on this pistol is model-specific, not footprint-specific. The Galloway plate and the Viridian RFX1 are specified for the Bodyguard 2.0 and the Performance Center Carry Comp, and neither fits the original Bodyguard 380, which is a different gun with a different slide. Smith & Wesson also sells Bodyguard 2.0 variants with the RFX1 already installed from the factory, so a pistol bought that way needs no plate and no sight work at all.
Built for the Bodyguard 2.0 slide. These replace the factory rear sight in its dovetail and bolt to the slide with no adapter plate in between.

Yes, for almost every optic. The Bodyguard 2.0 has no milled optic cut, so a dovetail plate matching your optic's footprint replaces the factory rear sight and the optic bolts to the plate. The exceptions are optics built for this slide, such as the Gideon Optics Pebble (S&W Bodyguard 2.0) and Viridian RFX1 (S&W Bodyguard 2.0), which mount with no plate. Plates are available for the Shield RMSc / Holosun K footprints.
Yes, on a plate. The Holosun 507K X2 is a Shield RMSc / Holosun K footprint optic, so it mounts on the Bodyguard 2.0 using the Galloway Precision Optic Mount Plate (S&W Bodyguard 2.0). Install the plate to the slide first, then the optic to the plate.
Yes, on a plate. The Holosun EPS Carry mounts on the Bodyguard 2.0 using the Galloway Precision Optic Mount Plate (S&W Bodyguard 2.0). Install the plate to the slide first, then the optic to the plate.
Yes, on a plate. The SIG Romeo Zero Elite is a Shield RMSc / Holosun K footprint optic, so it mounts on the Bodyguard 2.0 using the Galloway Precision Optic Mount Plate (S&W Bodyguard 2.0). Install the plate to the slide first, then the optic to the plate.
No. Galloway Precision specifies its optic mount plate for the Bodyguard 2.0 and the Performance Center Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp only. The original Bodyguard 380 is a different slide and is not covered. The purpose-built optics are the same story: the Viridian RFX1 and the Gideon Pebble are machined to follow the Bodyguard 2.0 slide profile and fit nothing else.
Yes, on both paths. The Galloway plate takes the place of the factory rear sight in the dovetail, and the purpose-built optics mount the same way, which leaves the tritium front sight and the dot. It is reversible: pulling the optic or plate and reinstalling the factory rear sight puts the irons back, though moving a sight in that dovetail takes a sight pusher or a punch.
