The BoreBuddy Apogee Match 16.1-inch barrel is a dedicated .22 LR AR barrel for a rifle-length upper. It uses a 416R stainless blank, a Bentz chamber, an 11-degree crown, and a 1:12 twist. BoreBuddy says the twist is intended for .22 LR bullets through 60 grains.
The straight bull profile measures .750 inch, which keeps the build simple at the handguard and gives the barrel more mass than a lightweight contour. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 for common rimfire muzzle devices and suppressors.
This barrel works with dedicated BoreBuddy, CMMG, Palmetto State Armory, and Right to Bear style .22 LR bolts. It needs a dedicated-barrel collar on the bolt. A conversion-kit chamber adapter is the wrong interface.
