Overview

The Angstadt Arms 9mm Bolt Carrier Group is machined from 8620 alloy steel with a QPQ black nitride finish. The 15.9-ounce ramped bolt works with both Glock- and Colt-pattern magazines and is compatible with most AR9 triggers. Its removable weight supports use with a Law Tactical folding stock adapter, Maxim roller-delayed buffer, or JP 9mm silent capture spring. Angstadt cuts it for an M16 auto sear and lists it as a full-auto-compatible bolt. The company has produced it since 2014 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In an August 2026 bench test, this BCG ran the Partisan Disruptor and Triggered Company LAT cassette FRTs without weight modification. That result applies to cassette systems only. Selector-style forced reset systems still require the internal weight to be notched or a pre-cut carrier.
