Chase Tactical
A 13.6 oz laser-cut rig with a 12-column by 5-row MOLLE face and fully detachable shoulder and waist straps. Open MOLLE rather than a proprietary placard footprint, so any pouch you own mounts to it.
The MCR1 answers a question most modular rigs dodge: what if you already own pouches? Instead of a proprietary placard footprint that requires buying matched inserts, the MCR1 gives you a laser-cut MOLLE face 12 columns wide and 5 rows tall, roughly 18 by 6 inches. Any standard MOLLE pouch mounts to it directly, which means the rig is a one-time cost and then costs nothing else if your pouch drawer is already stocked.
Laser-cut laminate is what keeps the weight at 13.6 oz. Cutting the attachment slots directly into 500D laminate Cordura removes the stitched webbing rows that make a traditional MOLLE panel heavy and thick, so the rig sits flatter against the chest than a sewn-webbing rig of the same footprint.
The strap system is fully detachable in an H configuration, with 2 inch shoulder straps and side release buckles. Pulling the straps off leaves a panel with a hook-and-loop covered back, which is how the rig transitions onto a carrier with a matching loop field. Internal pockets behind the front platform take flat storage or a Triple Kangaroo 5.56 mag insert if you want magazines inside the rig rather than in external pouches.
Material is Mil-Spec IR treated 500D laminate Cordura with bar tacking and reverse stitching, and Chase Tactical treats fabrics, webbing, and plastic hardware at source for a low IR signature. Overall dimensions are 10 by 9 by 3 inches, colors run Black, Coyote, MultiCam, and Ranger Green, and the rig carries a lifetime limited warranty.
