Helikon-Tex
Polish-made Cordura 500D mini rig that ships complete with H-harness, mag pouches, GP pocket, and a MOLLE panel for $120-130. Carries 2 rifle mags plus 4 small pouches; the budget entry point into a real chest rig.
The Helikon-Tex Training Mini Rig (TMR) is the budget entry point into a real chest rig. At $120-130 on Amazon it sits well below the First Spear RMCR 6/12 once you account for First Spear's separately-purchased pouches and harness; the Helikon ships complete with the H-harness, two AR/AK rifle mag pouches, four fixed small pouches for pistol mags or admin gear, a central GP pouch with an internal organizer, and a MOLLE/PALS panel along the bottom for adding pouches.
The construction is Cordura 500D with YKK zippers and Woojin hardware. That puts it a tier below the Berry-compliant US-made rigs at the top of the ranking, but well above the unbranded Condor/VISM budget tier. Helikon's Polish manufacturing has a long-standing reputation in European militaries and shooting clubs, and the rig has been a staple of the European training-range scene for years.
Functionally the TMR is a closed-front, H-harness, fixed-pouch rig. It is not a placard, it does not migrate to a plate carrier, and it does not accept modular inserts. The 2-mag rifle capacity is the lowest in the chest-rig category here; pair it with a battle belt that carries additional mags if you need more than two reloads on the chest. The trade is simplicity: you order one SKU on Amazon, it shows up in two days, and it is ready to load and wear without buying a harness, inserts, or pouches separately.
