Overview
The AirLite Detachable Flap is the laminate version of Crye's MOLLE front flap. Instead of three rows of sewn webbing it is a single sheet of Crye's water-shedding AirLite laminate with the MOLLE grid laser-cut into it, backed with mil-spec hook and finished with a locking snap so the flap cannot peel under a loaded pouch.
Crye lists the AirLite SPC, JPC 2.0, AVS, and LVS as its hosts, which makes it the one flap that spans the whole Crye carrier line. On a JPC 2.0 it does the same job as the AVS MOLLE flap with less weight and less depth, which is the reason to pick it on a carrier that was bought for being light in the first place.
Like every MOLLE flap it arrives empty; the pouches are the build.
