KIDD Black Viton Charging Assembly

KIDD packages every moving part of the 10/22 charging system in one assembly: the handle, guide rod, and recoil spring. That makes it a true builder-slot component rather than an enlarged handle that still requires the factory rod and spring. The black Viton-cushioned handle measures 1.75 inches, a quarter inch longer than the factory piece, and gives the support hand more purchase without becoming an oversized competition paddle.

The guide rod is the precision part. KIDD machines it from hardened tool steel, holds it to a 0.0002-inch tolerance, and applies a nitride finish rated at Rockwell 70C. A straighter, harder rod reduces the gritty drag that shows up when a rough factory guide rod flexes under the compressed spring.

Three recoil springs ship in the package. White is the standard-power baseline, red is ten percent heavier, and green is ten percent lighter. Most builds should start on the white spring; the other two are useful when ammunition, suppressor backpressure, or a heavily tuned action changes the cycling window.
