Volquartsen Extended Bolt Handle and Recoil Rod Assembly

Volquartsen replaces the rough factory charging system as a unit rather than treating the handle as an isolated control. The recoil rod begins as solid A2 tool steel, is heat-treated, and is then precision ground so heat-treat distortion is removed from the final surface. That sequence matters because the spring rides directly on the rod; a straighter and smoother bearing surface produces a cleaner charging stroke and less spring bind.

The handle is CNC machined on a Swiss-screw machine from 416 stainless steel and extends 0.25 inch beyond the factory control. The extra reach makes it easier to grab around a receiver-mounted optic or with gloves while keeping the profile closer to the rifle than a broad competition paddle. Black and silver configurations share the same $58 price.

Reduced-, standard-, and heavy-power recoil springs are included. The standard spring arrives installed, so the assembly remains a drop-in replacement for a normal build, while the other two give the owner a reversible way to tune cycling for a particular ammunition and action setup.
